It’s Saturday. What are you up to this weekend? I’m just hanging out with family and some of the closest friends. Oh! Got the car back. The alignment is visibly off but atleast its back together. Gonna be scheduling alignment asap. Also the brake rotor is probably bent now as there is a wicked shimmy when i apply pressure. So bad that the front driver side brakes are useless right now. That’s an easy swap out but it does make me a little apprehensive about what kind  of impact the hub itself absorbed.

Bent wheels or bad tire balancing will also produce more vibrations on breaking (and fast acceleration) than on steady driving and slower acceleration/deceleration.

Yeah i got a new tire mounted and balanced so im guessing that probably would have come up when they tried to balance  it.

I’m going to try some hacking today. My son’s teachers are using at least four different platforms for communication and giving assignments. I’m going to see if I can get them all feeding into one place. Then I’ll see about automatically  generating tasks or calendar items from them.

It’s not a passion, but knowing some basics definitely makes my life easier. I can’t stand doing repetitive work. But I have to do a lot of data processing tasks with my work. I learned early on that it was better to let the computer do the work for me.

Working today. Tomorrow I’m planning on taking the longest motorcycle ride I have so far. Only about 100 miles round trip.

Dude sweet! I have been lazy/busy and havent been on the bike in weeks even though i cowed this was my year to really push myself with the bike and getting in shape. Turns out have a girlfriend is very time consuming lol.

Need to get here on the bike! Part of the reason I picked the bike I did Was because I figured having a back rest and foot board might be enough to get my wife to try riding. No luck yet tho

Oh!! Duh i missed the “motorcycle” part of that lol. I just figured you were one of those endurance riders. I wish i had my motorcycle up but its still waiting for an engine rebuild after i blew a hole  in the piston.

Ouch!

No I had a road bike for awhile, but I gave it back to my father in law. He gave it to me when he upgraded to a carbon frame, then his carbon frame bike ate itself. Derailuer caught in the spokes and broke the seat stay. I hadn’t really been riding it anyway.

The longest road bike trip id ever done was like 40 miles. I pretty much stopped road biking when I got a good mountain bike.
